Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. As a key member of the financial services department, you will be responsible for providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of family-owned businesses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively liaise with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory and financial reporting standards;
  • Review tax returns for compliance and identify non-compliance issues;
  • Perform tax planning for clients;
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements and quarterly/annual tax compliance matters;
  • Liaise directly with clients; and
  • General business administration.
Requirements:
  • CA or CPA qualified or partly completed;
  • 2-3 years Business Services/Tax experience;
  • Client-focused with excellent communication skills;
  • Demonstrated analytical/problem-solving ability;
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage work flow;
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work;
  • Excellent attention to detail; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Xero.
