Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Orange, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the development of a new community-based service providing mental health and wellbeing support for children.

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will play a key role in completing assessments, case formulation, and collaborative treatment planning and delivery to children experiencing mild to moderate mental health and well-being challenges. You will take a child-centered approach, extending your scope to focus on families and carers to contribute a truly holistic health service in our community.

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external health providers, you will provide specialized support in a range of environments as part of a flexible service model. You will help shape the future direction of this new and dynamic service, building capacity in the community through adaptive service delivery.



Key Responsibilities
  • Complete child-centered assessments and contribute to case formulation
  • Deliver treatment to support children, families, and carers as part of a holistic service
  • Work individually and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and external health providers
  • Shape future direction of the service and build capacity in the community
  • Utilize flexible practice and adaptive service delivery within a Hub-based service
  • Engage with internal and external care providers and partner organizations to ensure continuity of care
