We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our Retail Credit Services team forward. As Head of this critical function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational priorities across our Personal Banking home loan, car loan, and credit card portfolios.

Reporting to the BFS Head of Credit, you will lead a high-performing team, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our end-to-end credit operations. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure clear, efficient, and effective operational performance, driving increased productivity and scalability of our operations.

This leadership role also involves managing risk and ensuring the provision of high-quality credit capabilities. Additionally, you will work closely with the Credit leadership team to align delivery of key initiatives, embedding agile practices and culture within the team.

The ideal candidate will possess an excellent understanding of managing large operations teams and driving transformation programs. Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with varied stakeholders.

You should have extensive experience working in the Australian retail banking environment, bringing significant strategic and/or operational knowledge and capability. A willingness to coach, build capability, and skills across all levels of the team is also required.
