Shore Excursions Operations Manager

This leadership opportunity is ideal for a results-driven individual with experience in managing and leading teams to deliver efficient and effective processes at the port. As a Shore Excursions Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of services, manage staff, and coordinate logistics to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and leading a team of direct reports to guarantee proper levels of resources and efficient processes.
- Developing and maintaining continuous communication with cruise ships, internal stakeholders, and Port Authorities.
- Planning and booking shore excursions at various ports across Australia.
- Overseeing operations incidents and reviewing their impact on delivery.
Requirements
Skill Set- Experience in team management and leadership.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use MS Office tools to high standards.
- Able to work independently and make suggestions for improvement.
- Genuine helpfulness and flexibility.
- Resilience in ambiguous or changing environments.
- Agility in juggling multiple priorities and projects.
- Prior experience in travel or tourism industries advantageous.
- Fluency in languages other than English beneficial.
