We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day living, including domestic and personal care assistance.
- Assist individuals to access and participate in community activities and events.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality support services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, including regular sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
- Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
- Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software programs.
- Current Driver's Licence.
