Delivering a significant energy infrastructure project requires the expertise of skilled professionals. The Humelink West Project is an opportunity to join a team responsible for assembling and erecting transmission lines in regional NSW.

About the Project:

HumeLink is a 500kV transmission project that increases the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states. Assembly and erection works are crucial components of this project, involving laying steel into suitable locations, inspecting and reporting defects, and conducting routine checks on lifting equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lay steel into designated locations
  • Bolt and install members according to specifications
  • Inspect steel and identify/report any defects
  • Conduct regular checks on all lifting equipment, including hooks and/or attachments
  • Understand bolt management and tightening processes
  • Calculate load masses and assess lifting points & slinging requirements
  • Read and comprehend lift plans for works

About You:

  • Experience working on transmission lines
  • Construction White Card
  • Work at Heights
  • EWP
  • Dogging and Rigging licence
  • High risk work licence
  • First Aid and CPR Trained (Desirable)
