The ProjectUGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver approximately 140km of the western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW, significantly increasing the capacity of Australia's eastern electricity network.
It is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, involving about 365km of new transmission lines and various infrastructure upgrades.The scope of works for HumeLink West, valued at $1.4bn, includes constructing new 500kV double circuit transmission lines from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new substation at Gugaa, near Gundagai, and another at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.RoleWhat will a day in this role look like:Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleTrade QualificationSupervisor CertificateStrong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to work independently, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentProficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and emailThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired but not mandatory.
