Environmental Officer - Community Development Specialist
\Role SummaryThe successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our organization's environmental and community development objectives. As a permanent member of the team, this role reports to the Environmental Coordinator.
\\Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental management systems.
- Engage with local communities through various initiatives and projects.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and conduct regular audits as necessary.
- Manage buffer lands, biodiversity offsets, and cultural heritage sites.
- Relevant experience in a similar role is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or engineering are required.
- Understanding of environmental aspects in industry is crucial.
- Experience working with environmental systems is desired.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislative requirements is essential.
