About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team on the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance project.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement the Planning Strategy framework across the project, ensuring best practice is adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide innovative, effective, and efficient planning solutions that align with industry best practices.
  • Project Milestone Management: Ensure the identification and management of critical project milestones, production outputs, and resource requirements to support proactive project management and successful delivery.
  • Forensic Planning: Conduct detailed analyses of project delays, disruptions, and acceleration to support claims management. Provide expert input and reports to substantiate claims, ensuring thorough documentation and alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Collaboration and Claims Management: Collaborate with legal and project teams to prepare, analyze, and resolve extension of time (EOT) claims and other contractual claims, using forensic insights to support negotiations and dispute resolution.
  • Resource Management and Team Development: Take responsibility for resource management and team development.
About You
  • Project Planning and Scheduling Experience: Solid experience in Project Planning & Scheduling on large-scale construction projects.
  • Construction Knowledge: Existing knowledge of construction techniques, methodologies, and processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with prior exposure managing a team would be highly beneficial.
