We are seeking an experienced Outcome Delivery Specialist to join our team in the Rural and Remote East region. Job Summary

The Outcome Delivery Specialist will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the regions Individualised Support Arrangements (ISA) within the Rural and Remote East (Gippsland). You will oversee the ongoing development and implementation of these disability services in the Rural and Remote East (Gippsland) and lead the ISA management team and direct support staff in the provision of high-quality individualised disability supports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Rights and Wellbeing: Uphold and protect the human rights of individuals supported, ensuring they feel safe, well, and free from abuse and neglect.
  • Service Growth and Development: Drive the growth of the service into a financially viable department, while managing the allocated budget in collaboration with the Head of Community Services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating positive work practices and adhering to the most suitable support framework to manage a diverse team, delivering high-quality, person-centred supports that empower individuals to achieve their chosen outcomes.
  • Staff Development and Training: Continuously enhance the skills of the ISA team to meet the evolving requirements of service provision, ensuring adaptability and proficiency.
  • Support Planning and Coordination: Guide staff teams in supporting individuals to engage in their daily routines with the appropriate level of assistance, tailored to each person's needs.
  • Social Inclusion and Community Engagement: Foster the development and maintenance of family relationships, friendships, and intimate relationships among individuals supported, promoting social inclusion.
  • Recreational and Educational Opportunities: Facilitate a wide range of social, educational, vocational, and recreational opportunities for individuals, enriching their lives with meaningful and valuable experiences.
  • Inclusion and Acceptance: Support individuals with disabilities to be recognised and valued as contributing members of their community, promoting acceptance and inclusion.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience: Comprehensive understanding of physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as other complex presentations, including mental health support.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred practices, ensuring the delivery of tailored, high-quality support.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading teams to achieve high performance standards, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Human Rights and Service Excellence: Dedication to service excellence, human rights, and a zero-tolerance approach to abuse and neglect.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative management skills, promoting effective teamwork and positive workplace culture.
  • Organisation and Time Management: Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including the use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, to support administrative and operational tasks.

Selection Criteria

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check.
  • Access to a roadworthy and insured vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster.

Estimated salary: AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this estimate may vary based on factors such as location, industry standards, and individual qualifications.
