About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer.NET Specialist to join our team at Sportsbet. As a key member of our technology-first organization, you will have the opportunity to develop your engineering skills and contribute to building amazing products for our customers.

We are looking for someone with commercial experience in the Microsoft Stack, particularly in C# and.NET Core. Your expertise in designing and developing highly available, scalable, and reliable AWS-based systems will be invaluable to our team.

As a Senior.NET Developer, you will be responsible for championing software quality, integrity, extensibility, maintainability, and reliability throughout the department. You will also be responsible for ownership of DevOps self-service, support, and operation of infrastructure within AWS, as well as ownership of CI/CD and Automated Testing.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly available, scalable, and reliable AWS-based systems
  • Champion software quality, integrity, extensibility, maintainability, and reliability throughout the department
  • Ownership of DevOps self-service, support, and operation of infrastructure within AWS
  • Ownership of CI/CD and Automated Testing
  • Mentoring and coaching of Junior Engineers with technical expertise, systems design, and programming knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience in Microsoft Stack, particularly in C# and.NET Core
  • Expertise in designing and developing highly available, scalable, and reliable AWS-based systems
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts and AWS services such as VPC, EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, RDS, etc.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as DynamoDB, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, such as NUnit, Autofixture, Selenium, Rhino Mock, etc.
  • Understanding of Agile practices, such as Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retro, etc.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and relevant tools and technologies, such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible Script
