Hotel Operations Leader

The Hotel Operations Leader is a key role that oversees the effective management of the hotel throughout the overnight shift. As a highly motivated professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guest needs through observation and provide prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other team members.
  • Coordinate Front Office operations during shift, including Front Desk, Communications, Concierge and Driveway to ensure excellent guest service and adherence to hotel standards and procedures at all times.
  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policies and procedures. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, audit and reconcile, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
  • Complete Quality Assurance room inspections and regular property walks, ensuring that any maintenance needs are attended to on a timely basis.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel credit procedures and policies at all times, leading by example.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification or proven relevant industry experience
  • The drive to consistently deliver high-quality results
  • Ability to work a rotating roster with full availability
  • Familiarity with Opera knowledge advantageous
