Delicatessen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delicatessen Manager to join our team at Bernardi Group. As a key member of our supermarket team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delicatessen department to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Department Management: Oversee the daily operations of the delicatessen department, ensuring high standards of visual presentation, stock management, and customer service.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coach a team of staff to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately manage stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers receive a positive shopping experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays and maintain high standards of store presentation.
- Profit and Loss Management: Manage department budgets, sales, and gross profit targets to achieve business objectives.
- Qualifications: Certificate IV in Retail Management or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the grocery or delicatessen industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
- Knowledge: Sound knowledge of purchasing, ranging, and merchandising principles, as well as inventory management and customer service techniques.
