Delicatessen Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delicatessen Manager to join our team at Bernardi Group.
About the Role:
The Delicatessen Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth in the delicatessen department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to maximize sales and drive customer engagement
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stocktaking and ordering
- Implement and maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
- Manage and control costs, including personnel costs, to achieve budget targets
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
- Monitor and report on sales performance and customer feedback
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a retail or food service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
