We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delicatessen Manager to join our team at Bernardi Group. As a key member of our supermarket team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our delicatessen department, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement effective visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales and drive customer engagement.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including stocktaking and ordering, to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Implement pricing, promotions, and marketing plans to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and respect.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Intermediate computer skills, with experience using point-of-sale systems and other retail technologies.
