Job Description

Oversight of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems including chilled water systems, ventilation systems, Mechanical LV systems, and BMCS interfaces is a key responsibility for the Senior Project Engineer role.

">Responsibilities
  • Ensure subcontractor works comply with design specifications, NCC, BCA, and project requirements by conducting regular site visits and audits.
  • Manage shop drawings, RFIs, ITPs, commissioning plans, and as-built documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain quality records, checklists, and compliance statements for HVAC works.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to safety-in-design compliance.

Effective communication with mechanical subcontractors, suppliers, and commissioning teams is crucial for timely and quality delivery. This includes attending coordination meetings with other trades (fire, hydraulics, electrical, BMCS) and ensuring seamless integration of subcontractor-installed systems with equipment.

Additionally, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for procurement reviews, material approvals, and technical submittals. They will also assist with defect close-out, integrated systems testing, cause & effect testing, and support commissioning activities.
