About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Sikorsky Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development of complex systems, including the design and implementation of Model Based Systems Development (MBSD) and Model Based Engineering (MBE) principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve system and sub-system level requirements through decomposition and design, representing these in the MBE environment
  • Develop key interface definitions, representing these in the MBE Environment
  • Resolve design and solution trade-offs against system requirements
  • Develop key technical documents and artefacts, such as solution descriptions, trade studies and definition of requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have significant knowledge in one or more of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare (C4ISREW) domains, along with:

  • Excellent understanding of MBSD and MBE principles, with experience deploying updates to within the modelling environment
  • Extensive experience with development of systems design for large complex systems
  • Advanced experience trading off designs and solutions with an understanding of the potential component level, subsystem level, and system level impacts
  • Significant knowledge and experience undertaking Agile development
