About the Role:

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Australia, you will be responsible for performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolving system and sub-system level requirements through decomposition and design, representing these in the Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment
  • Developing key interface definitions, representing these in the MBE Environment
  • Resolving design and solution Trade-Offs against System Requirements
  • Developing key AIR6500 technical documents and artefacts such as solution descriptions, trade studies and definition of requirements

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience with development of systems design for large complex systems, impressive experience trading off designs and solutions with an understanding of the potential component level, sub-system level, and system level impacts, along with:

  • Significant knowledge in one or more of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare (C4ISREW) domains
  • Excellent understanding of Model Based Systems Development (MBSD) and Model Based Engineering (MBE) principles
  • Extensive experience with development of systems design for large complex systems
  • Experience with DoDAF, SysML, MagicDraw, Rhapsody or similar will be an advantage
  • Significant knowledge and experience undertaking Agile development
  • Eligibility to gain an Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information
