Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

The Asset Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational and maintenance (O&M) deliverables of large-scale solar farms are met, aligning with the asset management strategy.

This full-time position is for parental leave cover, fixed term for 12 months.

This role supports the management of external O&M contracts alongside internal employees, focusing on performance targets, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and commercial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead projects to meet time, budget, and quality standards, ensuring OH&S, environmental, customer, and commercial requirements are met.

- Collaborate with financial teams for cost control, variation management, accurate month-end reporting, and project forecasting.

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external partners.

- Propose strategies to improve team or individual performance, contributing to business growth and improvement.

- Develop and enhance asset management systems, providing guidance and training to relevant teams.

- Provide feedback and guidance to engineering, business development, and contracts teams to optimize business decisions and improve outcomes.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Project Manager or Asset Manager in an electrical generation, distribution, sub-transmission, transmission, or infrastructure environment.

- Proven stakeholder and relationship management skills across multi-disciplinary teams.

- Experience in providing relevant feedback and guidance to support business decision-making.

- Detailed knowledge of project management, quality assurance, health, safety, and environmental management principles.

- Practical experience in asset management, maintenance practices, project management, contract management, and change management.

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering and project management (desirable).
