Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist Role

We provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to clients with diverse physical and psychological conditions, aiming to facilitate return to health and return to work outcomes.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads effectively, receiving support from our team of Rehabilitation Assistants.
  • Apply clinical expertise to enhance return to work outcomes.
  • Develop injury prevention programs for employers and employees, focusing on workplace education.
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied healthcare providers.
  • Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention initiatives.
  • Support individuals with injuries or health conditions in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Conduct Vocational Assessments, labour market research, and match job options with clients' capabilities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership.
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A current QLD Driver's Licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
