Project Coordinator Opportunity

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the delivery of educational programs and initiatives, working under the guidance of an Executive Officer.

  • Supporting program delivery through high-level administrative assistance
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting metrics
  • Sharing education activities across various media platforms
  • Providing information about educational offerings to the public

Administration Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with meetings, travel, and accommodation arrangements
  • Taking minutes and recording actions for foundation meetings
  • Processing invoices, claims, and related financial transactions
  • Updating sponsors, corporate donors, and private donors on their involvement
  • Supporting office administration and other tasks as required
  • Event support, including the Australian Space Forum

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Passion for space science, STEM education, and inspiring curiosity
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to comply with working with children requirements across Australia
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and online applications
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
  • Familiarity with space industry developments and technologies
  • Experience in event coordination or program administration
  • Commitment to upholding the Foundation's wellbeing and cultural values

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and STEM education frameworks
  • Experience delivering education programs
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in the workplace
  • Cyber threat awareness
  • Graphic design skills

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar or related support role is desirable
  • Open to recent graduates and early career professionals

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingsness to travel locally, interstate, and to remote locations in support of Foundation programs
  • Driver's license

Further Information:
