You will support the Client Service Manager and Head of Select, manage operations, drive performance, and coach a team of professionals. In addition to people leadership, you will maintain your own client portfolio, focusing on building strong relationships, retention, and ensuring client needs are fully met.
This role combines leadership, client service, and broking excellence - offering a platform to make a tangible impact in a multinational firm.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop team members, driving performance and growth.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage development plans, and ensure strong onboarding and training.
- Manage a client portfolio, ensuring insurance and risk management needs are delivered to a high standard.
- Drive client renewals, retention, and satisfaction, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Contribute to new business acquisition and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Manage and resolve client issues, working collaboratively with the Claims team.
- Support operational excellence, including debtor management, compliance processes, and reporting.
- Actively lead strategic operational changes to deliver improved client outcomes.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in insurance or financial services, with proven leadership or team management experience.
- Willingness to complete the Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification within your first six months (fully supported by the business).
- Diploma of Financial Services or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Strong knowledge of insurance broking practices, compliance, and legislation.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to deliver high-quality service.
- A confident leader with strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to drive team results while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
