Job Title: Lead Structural Engineering Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Structural Engineer to spearhead and grow our Sydney-based structural engineering team, working on diverse water infrastructure projects. As a key leader in the Sydney Structural team, you will drive successful project outcomes through strategic team leadership and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead comprehensive structural designs for steel structures in hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, treatment facilities, and general industrial projects.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction support services.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of professional growth and development within a supportive and inclusive environment that values diversity and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • Significant experience in steel structures design, with expertise in industrial buildings, steel framing, and roofing systems.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills, with a strong desire to lead and mentor teams and ensure project success.
