Exchange and SharePoint Technical Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled technical specialist to join our team as an Exchange and SharePoint expert. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex messaging systems and collaborative platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design and implement high-availability environments for Exchange services in hybrid mode
- Configure and administer Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 Server and integrated technologies
- Implement and manage archiving technologies for Exchange
- Collaborate with the service delivery manager, client executive, and direct client managers to strengthen our position as a strategic partner and managed services provider
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with enterprise customers through superior customer-facing and technical skills
- Provide recommendations on infrastructure evolution to meet short, medium, and long-term objectives related to digital workplace collaboration
- Test new digital workplace collaboration technologies in a production-simulated laboratory environment prior to production implementation
- Optimize system performance, including reconfiguration, maintenance, and upgrades
- Plan, develop, test, provision, administer, and manage systems related to digital workplace messaging
- Manage and plan hardware and software upgrades for digital workplace messaging technologies
- Create and maintain documentation for architecture, build, integration, transition, and maintain phases of digital workplace messaging technologies
- Conduct hardware capacity planning and make recommendations based on future direction and needs related to supporting digital workplace messaging technologies
- Support partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors in the digital workplace technology area
- Perform root cause analysis for issues on SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online
- Resolve SharePoint server-level issues and user-related issues
- Implement, upgrade, migrate, and troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues
- Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power Pages, Bots, and Power BI)
- Deliver SharePoint implementations, including intranets, document management, record management, O365 group creation/site provisioning engines, and a SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive platform
- Implement Microsoft Teams collaboration, information governance, security, and compliance
- Configure and manage external user/guest user access policies
- Require proven experience in Microsoft Whiteboards, MS Forms, Lists, Viva Insights, etc.
- Resolve issues on SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, MS Office apps, etc.
- Implement, upgrade, migrate, and troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues
- Experience from SharePoint on-premise/home drives to SharePoint Online/OneDrive
- Extensive experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- SPFx and PowerShell experience
- Knowledge of SharePoint best practices
- Encourage user adoption and contribute to the development of a business-wide understanding of the potential of SharePoint
- Identify and design training materials and make resources available to users
- Organize and deliver demonstration and training sessions
