Home Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Hobart 7000 TAS area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers' nutritional needs are met.
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting independence and engagement.
- Deliver personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, while respecting customers' dignity and autonomy.
- Provide respite and emotional support, acknowledging the importance of mental health and well-being.
- Transport customers to appointments, ensuring timely and safe arrival.
- Offer complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized support and understanding.
- A guaranteed number of hours close to home as a permanent part-time employee.
- A comprehensive training program, focusing on continuous learning and professional development.

- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential aspect of the role.
- The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing customer needs and well-being.
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
- Comfort with working independently, finding solutions to everyday problems, and knowing when to seek support from management.
