Home Care Assistant

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Hobart 7000 TAS area. As a Home Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers to live independently at home for longer.
Our Home Care Workers provide a range of services, including domestic assistance, meal preparation, shopping, social support, and personal care. If you're passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Offer respite and emotional support
- Transport customers to appointments
- Guaranteed hours close to home as a permanent part-time employee
- Extensive paid training and a culture of continuous learning
- Accelerated learning programs to gain your professional qualifications (Cert 3)
- Paid CPR and First Aid courses
- Paid Km's, phone allowance, and discounts on car maintenance
- Free uniform and a shoe allowance
- Support at every step of your employment journey with KinCare
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday
- Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems
