Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a monthly rostered day off, five weeks of annual leave, and a free Opal travel card.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Team Lead to supervise staff performing repairs and maintenance of our bus fleet at Port Botany depot. This role will involve supervising up to 30 staff members from various trades and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies to support daily workshop activities, conducting functional checks, and maintaining accurate records. They will also investigate and prepare reports on matters affecting performance and ensure compliance with warranty procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current NSW MVTC Motor Mechanic trade certificate or equivalent experience
  • A valid HC drivers licence or willingness to obtain one after commencement
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment
  • Computer literacy and ability to record accurate maintenance information
