Overview

That's Amore Cheese is a leading producer of authentic Italian-style cheese, located in Thomastown, Melbourne. Our artisanal cheeses are crafted using traditional methods and high-quality Australian milk. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as Machine Operators. In this role, you will play a vital part in the cheese-making process, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The role is full-time hours from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Ensure machines run efficiently and safely
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas in line with food safety standards
  • Follow production schedules and maintain quality standards
  • Assist with production work, including packing and handling products
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in machine operation
  • Experience in leading a team
  • A genuine interest in Italian cheese and traditional methods of production
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Great work ethic and willingness to learn
  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 15-20 kg
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
