Machine Operations Specialist

At our manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Australia, we are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up, operate and monitor machinery.

  • Key responsibilities include setting up and operating manufacturing equipment according to standard procedures, preparing tooling using hand tools and bench-top equipment, and carrying out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintaining high levels of safety and quality is crucial, as well as ensuring a clean and safe work environment through regular cleaning schedules.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately set machinery within tight tolerances.
  • Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven reliability, punctuality, and a solid work ethic.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with colleagues and management.

We are looking for an Australian citizen or permanent resident with relevant experience and qualifications. A Certificate III in Process Manufacturing is highly desirable.
