About This Role

This dynamic and exhilarating position requires a machinery enthusiast to facilitate and grow sales by dealing with both buyers and sellers.

  • Secure heavy equipment consignments and fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date.
  • Develop your territory through superior new business development skills and maximise consignments using your established network of contacts in the industry.
  • Consignment of equipment to any auction site around the world, maximising earning potential.

The ideal candidate must be:

  • A machinery enthusiast with an entrepreneurial nature who can maximise sales from new and existing customers.
  • An excellent negotiator with the ability to spot opportunities and act on them.
  • Experienced in hunting new business opportunities using current and innovative techniques.
  • Competent with the ability to create demand for consigned heavy equipment.
  • A self-starter who can work independently.
  • An excellent communicator with great ability to build rapport and attract Buyers and Sellers to auctions.
Requirements
  • A proven sales record with minimum 4yrs experience in the Construction, Agriculture, Transport Sector, or associated industries.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Attendance at relevant auctions.
  • An already established network of contacts within the industry.
  • An excellent knowledge of the current national and global market.
  • A grown knowledge of the Auction industry, buying, selling, and bid-catching at Auctions.
