Haematology Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Haematology Outpatient Unit.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing treatment for various haematological conditions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualised care plans.
  • Prioritise and implement planned care to achieve expected outcomes, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate patient progress and revise nursing interventions as required, maintaining accurate records of patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be fully chemotherapy competent and proficient in CVAD management and IV Cannulation.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Registered Nurse with current Authority to practice with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Cancer Services Nursing.
  • Chemotherapy competent and IVC competent.
