Haematology Nursing Opportunity

About the Role

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a haematology setting. The role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an acute care setting and a genuine interest in haematology nursing.

Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, identifying and implementing discharge planning requirements, prioritizing and implementing planned care, and evaluating patient progress.

The Registered Nurse will also be responsible for timely and accurate documentation of patient care and progress.


Essential Criteria
  • A current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
