A dynamic opportunity to support older people in achieving their goals and maintaining independence exists within our local community.

About the Role

  • Listen to consumers and understand what is important to them, then provide tailored support to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Work under the direction of a registered nurse to follow established care plans and adhere to scheduled tasks.
  • Record consumer outcomes into relevant records for accurate tracking.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives at residential locations.
  • Develop relationships with families and other stakeholders to enhance the lives of individuals receiving care.
  • Identify workplace risks and report them to management.
  • Report consumer risks to management, including any behaviors or actions that contradict our values.
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain skill levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care qualification.
  • Customer-focused approach with a passion for working in aged care.
  • Excellent attention to detail, honesty, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
