
Senior Clinical Care Specialist

The Senior Clinician, Youth Mental Health Initiative will provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns.
Role OverviewThis role requires a senior clinician who can lead, mentor and supervise clinical staff to deliver recovery-oriented care. The clinician will work closely with stakeholders to improve youth mental health pathways and service integration.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and psychosocial supports for youth with complex mental health needs.
- Leading, mentoring and supervising clinical staff to deliver recovery-oriented care.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to improve youth mental health pathways and service integration.
- Developing streamlined referral pathways and ensuring timely transition of care between services.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, current registration with the relevant regulatory body, or eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association. Significant clinical experience in child and youth mental health is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will be able to apply advanced reasoning and independent professional judgment to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues. They will also be able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team to achieve service goals and improve consumer outcomes.
The role requires strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, as well as competence with information technology systems. The successful applicant will be able to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
