About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our Mobile Engineering team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the engineering vision and strategy for our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Support Engineering Vision: Develop and implement strategies that enable the chapter to align with the tools and languages required to improve our systems, optimize operations, and stimulate growth.
  • Define Chapter Objectives and Best Practices: Define the chapter's objectives, best engineering practices, policies, and skill proficiencies.
  • Ensure Solution Alignment: Ensure that the delivered solutions conform to the agreed-upon principles and best methodology while aligning with the Chapter Area and Tribe Quarterly Business Review strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: Extensive hands-on experience, particularly in the telco industry, complemented with exposure to leadership, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Industry Certifications: Industry certifications in web languages or tools, integration languages; and/or technical people leadership and coaching.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing teams working on complex products/solutions and capability development projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT risk, information security fundamentals, defense-in-depth practices, IT risk assessment fundamentals, and risk management practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, whilst being proficient in Agile methodologies.
  • Communication: Direct customer focus with refined communication skills and attention to detail.
