Job Title:

Disability Support Worker

About the Role:

We provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to become more independent within their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop personal interests and provide support for daily living skills, transportation, and coaching for independent living
  • Administer medication as required and document health support plans
  • Manage triggers for challenging behavior and develop strategies for escalation
  • Ensure a safe environment for participants, documenting incidents and submitting reports
About You:
  • A demonstrated commitment to working with people with disabilities is essential
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and overnight shifts is necessary
  • The successful candidate will require an NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check, driver's license, first aid certificate, and up-to-date Covid vaccinations
