Client Support Specialist

We are a leading provider of services across New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people with a disability and their families or carers.

You will work closely with clients to identify their specific needs, preferences and goals; to promote their independence and participation in the community.

Duties:
  • Client Support and Advocacy: You will support clients to develop, implement, monitor and achieve their goals using a range of person-centred tools.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain network relationships with key agencies, other service providers, and referral services.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Ensure effective monitoring and reporting through accurate and relevant client records in line with confidentiality and privacy requirements.
  • Information and Referral Services: Provide information and referrals to support clients to access appropriate resources and services, both within our organisation and with external agencies and service providers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification and/or experience working within the Disability sector.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the needs of people with a disability and their carers.
  • Experience working collaboratively to enhance client outcomes.
  • An ability to appropriately respond to the needs of people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
