Job Description

We are seeking experienced IT professionals to deliver technical support services to the Department of Education.

The successful candidates will be employed to manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.

They will administer and support school networks and server environments, providing ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience, including previous experience within the TSSP program, extensive experience in the education sector, or equivalent senior-level corporate IT support experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
  • Administer and support school networks and server environments.
  • Provide ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments.
Essential Technical Skills
  • Hyper-V virtualization administration.
  • Administration of Windows and Linux-based servers.
  • Cloud service administration (Google Workspace & Microsoft 365).
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration.
  • Advanced enterprise networking (Cisco & HP switching).
  • Cisco wireless technologies (controllers, APs).
  • SOE and image deployment, with advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting large fleets of desktops and notebooks.
  • Experience with 1:1 and BYOD device planning, deployment, and management.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
Highly Regarded
  • Previous TSSP experience.
  • Demonstrated success in education-sector ICT.
  • Ability to plan/deliver ICT training sessions for staff.
