About the Role

A data analytics expert will work with clients to solve complex data challenges, leading teams on high-impact projects using advanced data technologies.

As a cloud architect in our team, you will collaborate with customers and partners to derive business value from data analytics and AI services. You will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support complex engagements focused on data-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS data services.
  • Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers, including pre-sales visits, understanding requirements, creating consulting proposals, and packaging data analytics service offerings.
  • Lead engagements that demonstrate AWS services enabling new distributed computing solutions, often spanning private and public clouds; include migration and modernization of data applications and development of new data applications using AWS services.
  • Leverage AI to unlock innovative ways to meet business needs through data analytics and AI services.
  • Work directly with customers in a fast-paced environment, designing experiments, researching new algorithms, and optimizing risk, profitability, and customer experience; evangelize and implement state-of-the-art solutions using machine learning, generative AI, and related techniques.
RequirementsBasic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT implementation experience
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership on technical/architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
  • Experience and technical proficiency in cloud computing technologies
  • Experience implementing AWS and/or third-party data analytics services (e.g., Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation); experience coding in Python, R, MATLAB, Java, or other modern languages
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience leading large-scale global data analytics projects aligned with business use cases
  • Experience in data quality management: processes to measure and manage data quality, enforce data controls, and provide data assurance
  • Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing, enterprise environments
  • Strong customer-facing skills to represent us in client environments and drive discussions with senior personnel on trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
