Cloud Architect: Data Analytics

Are you a Cloud Architect with GenAI experience? Do you have real-time Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Big Data, Modern Data Strategy, Data Lake and Data Engineering experience? You will work with customers to solve complex, high-scale data challenges and lead teams on high-impact projects using the latest data analytics technologies. AWS Professional Services hires technically proficient Cloud Architects specialized in Data Analytics and GenAI to collaborate with customers and partners to derive business value from data analytics and GenAI services. Consultants develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support complex engagements focused on data-driven outcomes.

• Expertise: Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon DataZone, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock.
• Solutions: Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers, including pre-sales visits, understanding requirements, creating consulting proposals, and packaging data analytics service offerings.
• Delivery: Lead engagements that demonstrate AWS services enabling new distributed computing solutions, often spanning private and public clouds; include migration and modernization of data applications and development of new data applications using AWS services.
• Push the envelope: Leverage AI to unlock innovative ways to meet business needs through Data Analytics and GenAI services.
• Collaboration: Work directly with customers in a fast-paced environment, designing experiments, researching new algorithms, and optimizing risk, profitability, and customer experience; evangelize and implement state-of-the-art solutions using ML, Generative AI, and related techniques.
• Technical delivery: Use ML and Generative AI tools (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock) to provide scalable cloud environments for data labeling, model training, tuning, and deployment.

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience
• Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership on technical/architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
• Experience and technical proficiency in cloud computing technologies
• Experience implementing AWS and/or third-party Data Analytics services (e.g., Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, dbt, Spark, Python); experience coding in Python, R, MATLAB, Java or other modern languages

• Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience leading large-scale global data analytics projects aligned with business use cases
• Experience in data quality management: processes to measure and manage data quality, enforce data controls, and provide data assurance
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing, enterprise environments
• Strong customer-facing skills to represent AWS in client environments and drive discussions with senior personnel on trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
