Cluster Leader Role

We seek an accomplished professional to oversee a cluster of residential services catering to children and young individuals within the Adelaide Metro area.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leading residential services, with expertise in engaging stakeholders and managing relationships. They will be responsible for ensuring high-quality support to children, young people, and their families, promoting safety, well-being, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of quality residential care services for children and young individuals (including those with disabilities)
  • Promote the safety and well-being of the individuals supported
  • Enable service delivery teams to achieve positive outcomes and satisfaction through goal achievement, therapeutic frameworks, and planning
  • Monitor service compliance and manage individual contracts and funding agreements
  • Coordinate and implement systems and processes to support effective service delivery
  • Contribute to service improvement plans and quality practices
  • Establish new services and manage vacancies
  • Support workforce planning and skill development in service delivery teams
  • Lead or contribute to projects aligned with organizational objectives
  • Facilitate an environment for team members to make a positive impact through support care models

Required Skills and Qualifications">

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma of Community Services or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Experience leading residential services for children and young people with complex support needs
  • Strong relationship development and management skills
  • Proficiency in business insights, trend analysis, and reporting
  • Crisis coordination and incident response experience
  • Sound knowledge of quality service delivery and business acumen
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Expert facilitation and communication skills
  • Coaching, mentoring, and goal-setting experience
  • A collaborative approach to stakeholder management
  • Ability to deliver balanced outcomes and work in therapeutic care models
  • Understanding of medication, health support, positive behavior support, and restrictive practices

  • Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
  • Full Australian Driver's License
  • Working with Children Check
  • Psychological Assessment
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
  • Evidence of vaccination or exemption from vaccination against COVID-19
