Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in payroll to join our team at Appreciating Talent. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing support in various HR functions, including payroll, benefits, HRIS, training, and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing: You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing using a third-party payroll company, Datacom.
  2. HR Business Functions: You will develop knowledge in other HR business functions, including benefits, HRIS, training, and compensation.
  3. Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service experience to employees and business partners.
  4. WHS Function: You will provide support in the WHS function.
  5. General HR Assistance: You will provide general HR assistance to the Human Resources Manager, line managers, and employees as required.
  6. HR Internet Portal: You will maintain the HR internet portal.
  7. Employee Development: You will assist in the personal and professional development of the organization's associates, which involves coordinating training and development activities and employee orientations.

Requirements:

  1. Tertiary Qualifications: You must have tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management (Diploma or Degree).
  2. Experience: You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a corporate HR environment.
  3. Legislation and Policies: You must have an understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  4. Attention to Detail: You must have high attention to detail.
  5. Numerical Ability: You must have numerical ability and data entry skills.
