Job Summary:

Secondary Teacher of Science and Mathematics

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team as a secondary teacher of science and mathematics. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and inspiring them to become curious learners, independent thinkers, resilient individuals and confident communicators.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching science and mathematics, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, and assess student progress to provide constructive feedback and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, and assess student progress to inform instruction.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Registration: Relevant teaching qualification and current full registration or provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to Work with Varying Ages and Abilities: Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities, including those with special needs.
