About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced allied health professional to join our team as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An allied health qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Current Professional Registration with relevant governing body
  • Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
  • Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use their initiative and achieve results
Your Key Responsibilities

You will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, working with a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals. As a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
