About the Role

As a Senior Contracts Administrator at John Holland, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior members of the team in delivering high-quality commercial and contract services.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen, with previous experience in a Senior Contracts Administrator role within the Construction or Engineering industry.

You will have intermediate to advanced proficiency in relevant software packages such as Microsoft Suite (including Excel) and exposure to a contract management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting scopes of works and tender packages for projects
  • Conducting initial investigations with subcontractors to clarify contractual conditions
  • Managing and driving the review process for subcontractor awards
  • Maintaining a register of subcontractors
  • Minimising subcontractor variation claims
  • Operating and maintaining commercial and contract systems

What You Will Need

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce, or equivalent
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (including Excel)
  • Exposure to a contract management system
