The role involves building robust, efficient, and reliable data pipelines consisting of diverse data sources to ingest and process data. Design and develop real-time streaming and batch processing pipeline solutions, assemble large complex data sets to meet functional/non-functional requirements, and design, develop, and implement data pipelines for data migration and collection, data analytics, and other data movement solutions.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Programming languages: Java, Python, C++
  • SQL development, understanding of stored procedures and functions
  • RDBMS: MS SQL Server, MySQL
  • Version control platforms: GitHub, GitLab, or AWS Beanstalk
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google
  • Software development life cycle and Agile Development methodologies

Nice to have skills include Data Engineering and ETL pipelines, Data Science (Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing), CI/CD DevOps practices, Message Brokers, Big Data Technologies, Machine Learning Platforms, and Unix/*nix with Bash/Shell scripting.
