Key roles and responsibilities include designing, developing and testing solutions to resolve operational issues, enhance existing systems and respond to incidents. This position involves implementing build and deployment pipelines, identifying business process improvements and undertaking business process engineering.

The role is critical in

  • Assisting in the implementation of enhancement pipelines and proactive identification of business process improvements.
  • Undertaking business process engineering and assisting the business with procedure development.
  • Working with IT, the business and external vendors to develop effective system solutions for business requirements while maximizing the benefits of SAP systems.
  • Performing Scrummaster tasks such as facilitating scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives and daily stand-ups and removing impediments to the team's progress.
  • Providing governance over changes deployed to ensure minimal business disruptions and quality assurance.

Requirements include

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Functional Analyst or equivalent supporting SAP S/4HANA.
  • Certification in SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
  • A strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance Systems processes with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Banking services, General Ledger, Project Systems, Time sheeting and Group Reporting.
  • Possession of passion for ERP in the energy industry and a good understanding of global standards and best practice.
  • Strong experience in ITIL support processes and Agile delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service focus.
  • Excellent ability to undertake problem resolution and enhancements using IT procedures based on development lifecycle principles.
  • Strong experience in Agile processes.
