About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Coach to join our team at Health Workforce Queensland. As a Social Well-being Advocate, you will be responsible for engaging with individuals in need of mental health services and providing expert guidance and support.

Job Description
  • Job Summary: Provide personalized support to individuals navigating their journey towards well-being, connecting them with relevant services and resources.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each individual's unique situation and needs.
  2. Offer informed referrals, connecting people with the right services and supports.
  3. Maintain ongoing communication with service users and providers, ensuring a seamless and supportive journey.
  4. Champion the ethos of personalized, strengths-based care, striving to make every service interaction as if it were for a friend or loved one.
Requirements
  • Qualifications & Licenses: Degree in Social Work, Nursing or other Allied Health Professions, NDISWS and WWCC, Driver's License.
  • Skills & Experience: A deep commitment to understanding and empathizing with every person's unique story, a strengths-based approach, focusing on what's strong, not just what's wrong, an unwavering belief in the power of conversation to uncover what truly matters to someone.
What We Offer
  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
