Support and Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Support and Care Specialists in our organization.
About the Role:
- Provide daily living assistance, promoting independence and dignity through meaningful interactions.
- Aid clients in maintaining their homes and community-based environments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and medical support.
- Foster effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, respecting their autonomy and preferences.
Requirements:
- At least 12 months of experience in a community-based care setting.
- A valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
- A smartphone device and completion of relevant training modules, such as the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
- Flexibility to work varied shift times, including active overnight shifts, within a fixed fortnightly roster.
