Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing seafood products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized retail environment.
  • Receive and inspect incoming seafood.
  • Packaging and labeling seafood products for display and sale.
  • Provide excellent customer service and answer inquiries about products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Set up and/or pack up the seafood display.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Knowledge of seafood varieties, cuts, and preparation methods is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects is required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality are expected.
